Using datacenters like IBM’s Summit supercomputer, a consortium composed of the department of energy, national research laboratories, NASA, IBM, Microsoft, HP, Google and Amazon are crunching the numbers in different domains of research related to epidemiology, bioengineering and molecular modeling.
